Reynolds - The Bold and the Blue
How often in life can one pen change your life? In my case...there were two. I think this is a new turn my life is taking. Today for the very first time in over 2 years I actually bought not just one pen but two. This meant that I was finally able to go to my bank and deposit some cheques that were sitting with me for over 4 months. I figured last night that the only reason I was not depositing the cheques was becuase I did not want to go to the bank and borrow a pen...you know how it is...so I picked up two pens today and headed to the bank...within a minute of getting to the bank, someone came up to me and borrowed a pen from me. Now normally this would be very bugging...but...since I had two pens...I continued to fill in my forms and dropped the cheques in...Oh I just love these pens...I think I am going to call you Reynolds. Over the next few days, we shall follow the adventures of Reyolds The Bold and the Blue...

That is why this place is called the Food Court...hmmm...all makes sense.

Shopping with Fiona

Shopping with Fiona is always fun. We go into a shop...she tries on something...then bargains till the cows come home. In this instance however...we were in a Mall. No Bargaining...only Discounts. Now the Sari Fi is holding up is about Rs. 8000. After the 50% discount it is about 4000 bucks. Now...for me that is like 3 Levi Jeans...or like a month of Petrol for my car...or maybe a return trip to Sri Lanka. But I must admit...the Sari looks awesome...I would even say it is an investment...you see if you ever run out of money...you could pull out the silver and gold on it and sell it for petty change...
(Later in the Evening) Now Fiona called me at 11:30 in the night asking me if this is worth buying? Come on...leave your comments...SHOULD FIONA BUY THIS SARI...BECUASE HER BIRTHDAY IS WAY TO FAR AWAY...SO SHE HAS TO DO THIS ON HER OWN. HELP...SHOULD SHE????

Meeting Saif over the weekend.

Saif and I were born on the same day, the 30th of October in the same year in the same town...and now he is getting married...Damn I need to get my life moving in some direction.
We have known each other for over 20 years now. We studied together as kids...he is the only person in the world to whom I have ever written letters...(We were 13 then and in those days STD calls from Chennai to Ranchi were unheard of). Anyways Saif is in the Merchant Navy now. He was in Bangalore for the weekend and stayed over at my place. We talked about the good times...the bad times...and the times we cannot remember. I tricked him into getting this photograph taken...Sorry Saif...I want this blog to look natural...no edits...no poses...

Now...how do I wake Rohit at an unearthly hour???
Fluff is her name. She looks cute...and can stand on two legs if you have a piece of chicken in your hands. HOWEVER...while most people have alarm clocks...I end up waking up because of this fur ball. After a late night at the office, nothing wakes you up faster than a 6 inch dog licking you and barking into your ears threatening to go PI PI in your bed.

Radio City Live CONCERT

The Radio City Live Concert at the Palace Grounds in Bangalore in the month of March. This is what Parikrama looked like from backstage. The whole activity was the most fun I have had ever on Radio. The brand new show that I host every Sunday Night on Radio City 91FM - RADIO CITY LIVE featured some of the best bands from Bangalore. We then went through a voting process that saw the city of Bangalore voting for its favourite bands. The top three bands then performed at the Palace Grounds in what can only be described as "The Best Stage in Town."
